This weeks podcast recommendation
Master: the allegations against Neil Gaiman
This podcast does an excellent job of discussing the subject of consent and sexual assault, often terribly misunderstood and hard to prosecute. Not only is it timely, since Gaiman and his so-called ‘feminist’ ex-partner have recently been charged with human trafficking allegations, but this podcast is the very reason the allegations finally got taken seriously by authorities. Podcasts can be important game-changers, and we’ll be recommending one in every newsletter since we gave up ours, so stay tuned.

This week Madhvi went to
This week Madhvi went to the Tajikistani teahouse in Berlin Mitte to have tea with a group of friends. We spent five hours there. Honestly, there is no content in the world that beats meeting a group of great women. Go meet your friends. Spend time with them. Laugh and cry and look at a pack of Kama Sutra playing cards with them.
This week Rina is going to see
This week Rina is going to see Palestinian rapper Shabjdeed at his first ever Berlin show. I am a low-key rap fan, which surprises a lot of people. I am looking forward to it, and I hope to see you all there - tickets here
This week’s Inspiration
This week’s inspiration is Berlin’s own Cutt Press. They publish zines, pamphlets, artist books, and poetry, with the archives of Hopscotch Reading Room. If you want something weird and wonderful to read, check out their catalogue.
