This week’s distraction is 48 Hours Neukölln! Our favorite kiez will be hosting artists and projects for the entire weekend, starting Friday. There are lots of amazing exhibitions and experiences to discover, but our personal pick is The Gaza Monologues.
The main point of the audio walk is to fundraise for the authors of the Gaza Monologues in Gaza. Donations welcome throughout.

This week Rina read
This week Rina started reading ‘Taiwan Travelogue’ by Yang Shuang-zi. It was a birthday gift and I have been looking forward to reading it. I must admit I am a bit low on time right now so I haven’t been able to get beyond the first page but it won the international booker prize and my favorite book YouTuber recommended it.
This week Madhvi read
This week Madhvi is reading our Inferior, by Angela Saini. It’s about what science has gotten so shamefully wrong about women, and the fight, by both female and male scientists, to rewrite what we thought we knew. Groundbreaking research is finally rediscovering women’s bodies and minds and this book delves into cutting-edge scientific studies to uncover a fascinating new portrait of women’s brains, bodies, and role in human evolution.

This week’s inspiration
This week’s inspiration is the ongoing protests against the ongoing genocide in Palestine.
Show that your heart is still breaking for these people, their lives, this injustice and the moral failure of Western powers by turning up and shouting about it.
