This week’s distraction
This week’s distraction is the IWB MeetUp & Egg Freezing & Fertility Firechat.
Doubts about egg freezing, fertility, IVF and motherhood?
International Women Berlin is having a fireside chat on fertility preservation and egg freezing with by Dr. Lynae Brayboy, Co-Founder & Chief Medical Officer at Ovom Care. This event will cover the egg-freezing process, insights into fertility health, and considerations for future family planning in a welcoming and supportive environment. Whether you're actively considering egg freezing or simply curious about your reproductive health, this session offers clarity, community, and valuable insights. Tickets are 10.61 euros.
This week Madhvi read
This week Madhvi read our bookclub book, Witches, Sluts, Feminists: Conjuring the Sex Positive by Kristen J. Sollee. We are meeting to discuss this book on Monday 9th December. Want to join? Women only.
This week Rina read
This week Rina read ‘Enter Ghost’ by Isabella Hammad. This book touched me deeply. It was so beautifully written and such an insight into complex emotions. The story is about a British-Palestinian girl who returns to occupied Palestine to visit her sister and with it comes the reality of living there.
This week’s Inspiration
This week’s inspiration is all the writers and all the books on our list for next year’s feminist bookclub. Whether you’re reading along at home or a part of our in-person book club, you know what to ask for this Christmas!
