This week’s distraction is the new government in Germany. Yes, you read that right we may have a new government in Germany - finally! The Guardian nicely summed up all the things that could change and all the things that may stay the same here.
This week Rina has been listening to
This week Rina has been listening to “Sounds like a cult” Which is exactly what it sounds like. A podcast about things that aren’t officially considered a cult but let’s face it sound like a cult!
This week Madhvi has been reading
For this week’s episode, Madhvi started reading A Woman’s Berlin: Building the Modern City. So far, so fascinating.
This week’s Inspiration
This week’s inspiration is this woman making repairs to the roof of Berlin’s town hall in 1910. We don’t know who she is, because women have been largely left out of the history of building and architecture, but we admire her bravery and courage for climbing to such heights and fixing stuff!
